Heavy Equipment Sales Representative - Oahu


As a Heavy Equipment Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a passion for sales and a keen interest in heavy machinery. You will work closely with senior sales team to learn the industry while developing your own skills in sales techniques, customer relationship management, and product knowledge.

Essential Functions:

  • Generating sales leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes to clients based on their requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close sales.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products.
  • Work closely with the senior sales team to meet sales targets and objectives.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before and after the sale to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques through training and self-study.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Research and identify potential clients in target industries.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client meetings and industry events.
  • Adaptability and resilience in handling challenges and rejection in sales activities.
