As a Parts Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of heavy machinery parts. Your role will involve working closely with other team members to maintain an organized and productive warehouse environment.
Essential Functions:
- Receive incoming shipments of heavy machinery parts, verify quantities and specifications against packing lists and purchase orders, and inspect parts for damages or defects.
- Organize and maintain inventory of heavy machinery parts using appropriate storage methods and equipment, such as pallet racking systems, shelving units, and forklifts. Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Retrieve parts from inventory according to pick lists or customer orders, carefully packaging items to prevent damage during transit. Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule outgoing shipments, prepare shipping documents, and arrange for transportation of heavy machinery parts to customers or other locations. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure that the correct parts are being sent, and they meet quality standards. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and communicate with relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Perform routine maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments. Enter data into computerized inventory management systems and generate reports as required.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates, as well as sales, procurement, and customer service teams, to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.
- Process all shop parts orders promptly with maximum accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably with heavy machinery parts or similar products.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and track inventory.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license
