As a Parts Warehouse and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations related to heavy machinery parts, as well as ensuring timely and accurate delivery of these parts to designated locations. Your role will involve handling inventory, picking and packing orders, maintaining warehouse organization, and driving delivery vehicles to transport parts safely to customers or other company locations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Functions:
- Receive incoming shipments of heavy machinery parts.
- Inspect, label, and organize parts within the warehouse according to procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using software.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Process orders received.
- Pick and pack parts accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
- Coordinate with other team members to prioritize urgent orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Load delivery vehicles with parts and equipment, ensuring proper securing of items for transport.
- Safely drive delivery vehicles to designated locations, following traffic laws and company policies.
- Unload parts at customer sites or company locations, verifying delivery accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, signatures, and any issues encountered.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate any delivery challenges or customer feedback to the warehouse supervisor or management team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery role, preferably in the heavy machinery or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to traffic laws.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
